If you need more storage, that’s not a problem! You can purchase as much storage as you need from UniComData on a per GB basis. You’ll only pay for the amount of storage services used in a given month, helping you avoid large capital purchases for a storage infrastructure.

 

Yes, your data is secure from the minute the online backup starts, to storage of your data. UniComData’s Remote Backup Solution features powerful encryption based on the proven Blowfish algorithm (up to 448 bit). Your data is encrypted before it is transmitted over the wire to our storage facility, and it also prevents unauthorized access to your account.

 

It’s not hard to set up UniComDataBackup. We offer two easy options for your initial backup: you can either use our software we’ll send you, and backup your data on your own server. Or, you can use a USB we’ll mail you to transfer your data and set up your initial backup transfer. After we receive your data, then the  backup to your system can be set up to sync EVERY TIME a remote or onsite station connects to the Internet.

The minimum amount of storage space you can get with UniComData is 50 GB. After that, the amount of space is scalable based on your needs. And it only costs you $1/GB no matter how much space you need, or for how long you need it. There’s no commitment, and is renewal on a month-to-month basis.

Once UniComData receives your data for the initial transfer, we will back up each machine to a server located in our secure data center. After the initial backup, you will have access to your account and can schedule your remote backups based on your own timeframe and needs. UniComData can also provide additional customer support through our Remote Hands Program for an additional fee.
